Astrophytum Asterias Hanazono

A grafted Echinocactus horizonthalonius v nicholii was in flower in the afternoon.
I bought seeds and sowed on 28th September 2005.
Young seedlings were grafted.
Since just one cactus was in flower, I collected pollen and dried for the preservation.

Gymnocalycium spegazzinii v loricatum sown seeds on 16th November 2003
It was in flower in the afternoon today.

I posted a red flowering asterias on 16th October.
2nd one was in flower in this afternoon.
I believe this one is better than 1st one and so I will cross to a hanazono kabuto.

First ever flower.

They were once popular but not anymore.
Some seedlings have still remained in my place and been in flower.

That is beautiful. Always a thrill to find an awaited bud has opened.

I look forward to seeing what my Pico has in store. Mamm. Spinossima 'Pico' has a lot of buds in early stages as yet and I have not seen it flower before.

15 flowers are going to open together.
The cultivar name of hanazono (flower garden) kabuto comes from this reason.

your Turbinicarpus krainzianus var. minimus look very good. Here is a picture from the location of the plant, after big raining, the complete habitat flowered. It was amazing.
