Flowers Flowers Flowers!! 2014-15 Flower thread.

I have owned Trichocereus for years now and this is the first one to go to flower. The scent is surprisingly strong and very pleasant for cacti, as I have found most cacti to have only faint flower scents. This one is a Peruvianoid specimen and is nearly 2 meters tall.

One of grafted Ariocarpus fissuratus v intermedius was in flower in the afternoon.
The scion is one year old.
It is too early flowering because it is just the beginning of December.

Hanazono that escobaria is absolutely stunning!!!

I got a rooted E. mimima and grafted a off-set onto a M. geometrizans.
Since the flower is so nice, I grafted 6 more recently.
Minima is in flower several times between spring and autumn.

A young Turbinicarpus alonsoi was in flower in his morning.
I sowed seeds in 2011.
This is the 1st flowering for this cactus.
The body is still small, 35 mm in diameter.

Several super kabutos were in flower yesterday.
The photo is one of them, 15 cm in diameter.

I have some "not-white" asterias.
The one on photo is 14 cm in diameter, a good shape.
