| I have quite a few plants that were purchased through this supplier. some of my plants are over 10 years old . prices seem very fair. http://www.cssnsw.org.au/lestermeyers.pdf | |

| Yep the plants from Lester Meyers are good. I have bought from him several times over the last few years. Just make sure you put in subsitutes list just in case. I have never got subs but you never know. The $1.70 ones would fit in a 5/7cm pot. Some are bigger than others | |

| I might add that I too didn't get any of my substitutes, and he returned my spare cash taped to the inside of the packaging - very creative He's definitely good value | |

| I was going to start a thread singing praise of lester myers also. I have also purchased alot from lester in the last year or so- I have learned to put substitutions in and ask not for the money back. Great prices - I'v found his plants can take a little longer to bounce back into growth - but this could be due to the time of year when I ordered. if this was ebay I would say A1A1A1+++ !! ! Great ebayer !!! AAAA1111 | |

| What's the go with this supplier, do you just send a list and some money with a postal address? But how do you know how much postage will be. I'm really keen to get some of these species, he has quite a collection. Is it better to ring first?
Thanks for pointing this out, great plant list. | |

| Micro, the postage list is covered in his listing. I would allow some extra money for bigger postage, and say if its not required for him to substitute with an extra plant of variety X. Got post and extra plant covered either way. Lester might still decide just to reimburse you and not give you the extra stuff - its a bit of pot luck.

| I just rec'd my first order from Lester. Some were small and one he didn't charge me for. Some of the others for a $1.70 are a steal, they would go for way more on Ebay. In regards to postage I sent $20 extra and asked for registered and told him to substitute other cacti to make up the difference, which he did. The Alluadia procera ($6) and Hoodia macrantha ($5), to me, were an absolute bargain. I would certainly feel confident on recommending buying from Lester if anyone is contemplating doing so . | |
