g/day all, i have a couple of harrisia jusbertii and myrtillocacatus geometrizans, with pups about 5 to 8cm long, how old do they have to be before i can remove them and dry them out ready to pot,and what is the best time to do this please advise me thanking you, peter olsen vic.

You can cut offsets off in mid of August and dry at least 2 weeks, then set them in September for the rooting.
10 cm length is a good size for the rooting but it is alight current length also.
