Hello from Terracottacactus in Perth

Hello everyone!

I've been hanging out here for a long while now, but never made the leap and signed up until now. I fell in love with cacti when I saw my friend's old man's 30 year old Cereus peruvianus flower one night. Since then I've haphazardly gathered just about anything succulent related that caught my eye; flowering cacti, Lithops, anything at all.

At the moment I'm still only beginning to build up my collection and I'll be trying my hand at grafting this summer, so please be gentle with me if I ask for help sometimes.

I was the same as you when I started and within a couple of months I was grafting 2 day old seedlings in a grafting competition.

The forum is a wealth of information and a lot of these guys do some amazing things.

Hi, also just joined from Perth too. Not many good sources for variety of cacti here in Perth... I'm debating on taking the risk to order some seeds. Any Perth people have experience ordering seeds successfully? I'm wanting to get in some different Astros and Lophs seeds and cross trichs, amongst other things...
