G'day all, first and foremost great site, looking forward to spending some time on here.
As a kid I had a small echinopsis multiplex, a cutting given to me from the old lady over the road, a keen gardener. I planted it an watched it grow until finally it sprung the most beautiful flower, I was hooked..... To the present I have achieved qualifications in Horticulture, arborculture and viticulture. I'm by no means a know all though, I'm on here to learn and hopefully share some ideas too. During the day I'm the head curator of a well known Perth parkland, 55 hectares in total, mainly doing turf and working on habitat/ endemic species plantings and promotion. My private garden hasn't got much turf, haha, mainly edible plantings and of course the thing I'm most proud of, a small collection of cacti, mainly of the echinopsis genus. They still facinate me and even after a hard day I can just drift off and admire they're beauty.
