Darren
How many guelzowiana plant do you have?
When you locate several guelziwianas in your greenhouse, they will be good mousetraps.
I caught several mice last year.
You should not keep guelzwaiana outside, birds will stick.

Hanazono I have 2 main plants that i purchased from you and about 10 small plants that i have grown from pups but at this stage i have caught no mice. i did find some spines pulled off of my M. pectinifera so i assume something got caught and managed to escape. i cant wait for these two to put on a show for me this year they are beaut plants!!!

My Mammillaria senilis appeared to have caught a rat once but it got away... blood and fur all over it one morning. In its struggles it had pulled off several tubercles too. Maybe it taught it a lesson!

Have heard of other hooked spined Mamms catching sparrows and geckos too.

could be a market for mouse traps... is it inhumane if a plant catches a vermin and kills it??? Its is not actually a trap!!! people keep venus fly trap and feed it..
