| Yeah lewis it's a heliosa, one of my plants. It is odd flowering from the center instead of the sides. I think maybe the rats have had a munch on the flower bud too, giving it an even odder look. | |

| Lewis is my friend. He bought me a 1m tall monstrose optuntia for $11 at an auction. BARGAIN! I think so anyway, pic will be up in no time... Just so everyone gets an idea, the cactus flower which is pictured above usually flowers from the side in between the tubercules. In this case its flowering from the meristem (growth point) intead. Strange. | |
