Hi Guys,

I am looking for a permanent solution to protect my Cacti and Succulents from Uv and Excessive rain to prevent burning and rot risk.

I have looked at 50% White Shade cloth as it seems to be the best option for me so far.
I was wondering if a lot of water still gets through this shade cloth or if there is some other ideal way to do this.

I am growing all sorts, Echeveria, Llithop, Crassula, Portulacaria, Aloe's, Sedums both seed propagation and from cuttings.

If anyone has any advice that would be great.

Iam in Melbourne Australia, the weather can get upto 40 degrees with scorching sun down to as low as 1 degrees and frost.

I just collect cacti only but you need a roof if you wanted to stop rain water.

I use clear roof sheets and lay 50% white shade cloth under the roof permanently.

I use clouded plastic on my green house. Holds up pretty well and I have almost never had burning issues.
