Thanks friends,
Kanje, the first one is E. triglochidiatus... I always thought that it needed a cold dry winter to induce flowering, but this winter has been relatively mild temp wise, & it has been overcast and wet almost the entire winter, so humidity has been high too. This plant has not flowered for a few years even with what I thought were more 'favourable' conditions... it's mate on the other hand has no buds at all this year.
