G'day mate. Lobivias are generally hardy little plants, and great beginners' cacti. If you pop it near a sunny window and water it occasionally it should grow fine. I like to give my cacti a dose of 1/4 strength liquid fertilliser with every second watering during the growing season (generally the warmer months). Basically, these little guys are pretty tough and should reward you with some nice flowers.

G`Day Lachy,
Thanks for your prompt reply much appreciated. I have it outside in a 70%shadecloth house and have only watered it once in the 2 weeks I`ve had it so I must have had a feeling that was right. Next time I`ll give it a little high nitrogen F as you suggest, Thanks again,
Bye for now John
