Beautiful! I love the coryphantha. They are some of my favourites.

The cory flowers remind me so much of astro ones.
On a side note, ive had a single segment of the short spine tethro rooting for about 2 years and its made no progress in growth and barely any roots. Anyone got an idea why? My papyrcanfha roots like a rabbit in the paddock.

I also have a short spinned tephro. They seem to be very slow growing compared to the common variety. I think mine has thrown 1 pup in the past 3 years.

Yeah the same mate without a spine on it.
Ive read somewhere sneaky that some tephros wont segment until theyre completely pot bound. How old is your plant gary?

We have three in the ground... started small and continually drop segments that root themselves quite rapidly... We have to tidy them up about twice a year as they keeps spreading. We have a few in pots that seem slow growing and no experience with them being pot bound. They certainly are easy in the ground, even in clay soil!
