| The enormous copiapoa really made my day and the huge mammillaria clusters really topped it off. | |

| I wonder how old some of those copiapoa's were. I shudder to think how many years it would be before my c. cinerea seedlings which are the size of pea's get to a comparable size. Did you get some nice takeaway to add to your collection? | |

| I certainly did. I will post a pic up in the morning.
The golden barrels where 35 years old and didn't flower until they were 17.
The copiapoa she suspects is about 30-40 years old as she bought a whole copiapoa collection many years ago. There where a large number of very impressive sized copiapoas but sadly many had scaring. This species is very tricky to grow on the tropical coast.

For some reason i have always liked the Ferocactus Schwarzii, great to see some larger ones around!
Is the second last photo Mammillaria Albilanta V. Micromeris?

| Not sure what the mamm was but I managed to score a little plant. Guess I just have to wait another decade to have one look anything like that.
The copiapoa was about the size of a soccer ball. I also have a little on of these about the size of an egg. SO many years to wait!!!!!!!!!
