See below pic for an Ariocarpus I have growing in my collection. The seed was marked as a hybrid between Fissuratus and another (cant remember and lost the tag). What are your thoughts ? A hybrid or just a variant of the ssp.

My opinion, definite hybrid, looks like furfuraceus is the other parent.

Yeah I was thinking this one had a few parents somewhere down the line. Either way it's a cool plant, I have a few more from the same seed batch that are showing different growth.
