GALLERY!!!

Any chance of getting a gallery at all???

Can be a great help for the purpose of identification and everyone gets to show off their plants. :geek:

Really have to get my camera happening. I have heaps more plants than when I took the pics I am uploading.

Lots of new pics up in the gallery.

I was thinking of starting to build up the gallery but it says, 'The size of all the pictures is higher than the allowed limit.

You cannot send more.'

Is there any way we can have this changed or is the Flickr site our only option?

Unfortunately, there is no way to change it unless someone pays money for credits. Which I, personally, would rather not. I also don't expect others to fork out just to host a larger gallery.

Someone here was meant to build us a gallery and host it too. It never happened. I am not sure how to go about it and frankly I do not have the time or energy at this point in time to figure it out.

So yeah, the Flickr account is the main site gallery.

If anybody has any suggestions though, feel free to add them here.

Just as an update, the site gallery seems to have died somehow. None of the photos show up, but they're still listed there with their description, name etc. Same thing happened to the avatars I noticed, which isn't a big deal, but something seems to have gone wrong most of the photos uploaded on the site.

As far as a bigger gallery goes, I would be happy to take the time to set one up, provided we have some sort of host or available space (I imagine photos take up a decent amount of webspace).

As Trigonus said above the issue is the forum provider only allowing very limited web space in the 'basic' accounts. I believe they have tightened it up even move over the past few weeks and this is causing problems with the current content.
