Hylocereus undatus question

I have collected some wild Dragon fruit from near my house and have rooted it and it is now growing new arms. This plant has really vicious spines is it the same at Hylocereus undatus or another Hylocereus species? Are there many cultivars etc in the hobby? I will google it but was hoping for some first hand info? I will try and post some pics in the next week or so?

EDIT: Here is a list of accepted species. Maybe have search for them in google images and see what turns up, but definitely post some pics of yours, someone might be able to help ID for you.

I will definitely get some pics the plants that I grabbed cuttings from were huge growing on cliffs they were starting to flower last time I was there hopefully there may even be fruit soon.

Nearly all the Hylocereus species have short spines <1cm. If your plant has more pronounced spines you may have Selenicereus SP, another great grafting stock ! Both produce very similar result, see below.

the spines would only be just under a cm but they are nasty sharp, I think it may just be a common Hylocereus just the particular pieces I got were old and weather hardened, they really ripped me up the new shoots off are nice normal looking young "Hylocereus-esq" I should be able to get some pics up by the weekend, I checked the wild plants out today they are covered in flowers currently hopefully some free fruit in a few weeks.
