Crazy Lithops

Some of my friends showed me a set of lithops they are growing.
Out of a very large amount of seeds, they got 3 multi-coloured variegated lithops.
All I had with me was my little cell phone style camera, so please excuse the poor image. I took 3 photos at different angles.



I've never seen such wild Lithops!

That is cool i grow thousands of seedlings and very rarely get variegated ones. I am curious as whether they are crosses or true to species as perhaps there is a more likely chance of getting variegates.
Either way that is awesome to get three of them.
Here is the only one i have out of several thousand.

I am going to get better pictures next time I am visiting my friends. The colours on them are unbelievable. They said that they got these three out of +150,000 planted.

Amazing looking variegated Lithops! Cannot wait to stumble across one of these.

Yeah lithops are strange and wondrous things - and the variegations just add to all that. I know it makes sense given the odds, but I'm still amazed by the number of plants that some people grow.

I am going to see about taking some update photos with a better camera. The variegation on these is simply amazing, and those pics don't do them justice.

Yes please IXOXI! That would be awesome. Looking forward to seeing them, & other Lithops pic if possible.

I may get a chance today (Friday), though if not, then maybe Monday instead.
