PostSubject: HTML EDIT ????   HTML EDIT ???? EmptyFri Jun 04, 2010 7:14 pm

Hi everyone,

I need a little help with the forum. For some reason recently whenever I click the 'edit' button to edit a post (My posts or someone else) it comes up in HTML. I can read HTML but it makes it more difficult to edit it. This is only a recent thing and I can't for the life of me work out how to fix it.

Any help much appreciated.

Josh,

I have a forum (for roses) with forummotion as well. It seems there is a new button in the toolbar that looks like this HTML EDIT ???? Switch_wysiwyg. It's the wysiwyg editor. Maybe it was there before but I've only just noticed it myself (been running my forummotion forum for two years now). If you click it you should be able to switch editor modes.

HN when I first open a post to edit it does the same thing, I can see all the code and tags, but then it redraws the screen and it looks normal.

I'm using Firefox...Is there some browser dependancy setting in the forum software somewhere ? What browser are you using ?

Funnily enough I tried to post one of my flikr images the other day using IE and I could not get it to work for some reason, opened the forum and used firefox and not a prob at all... strange!

TasV, That button does not appear in my tool bar when editing a post.

Navajoa, I'm using Chrome.
