| NOT YET !! But it is hard to tell without a pic from when you initially gratfted it. I think as long as you can keep, what looks like the start of some orange rot, at bay it should be good in the next few days. Look closely at the skin for it to become turgid, once this happends it is sucessful Good work. | |

| edit: i just ran out and covered that small affected orange area (which appeared a few days after i grafted but on the upside does not appear to have spread since.. at least not yet) with sulphur and Fongarid (a fungicide). is this going to do anything, assuming it is orange rot? | |

| Yes and No, the problem here is two fold and is common with all grafts. You must keep the scion in a humid environment or it will deflate and die. You also must stop the rot from spreading.
Post few more pics from different angles, if ya can and I will see what is best.

| I missed that edit:
Yeah that is exactly the treatment I would use. Sulphur is a fairly powerful fungicide and works well, I usually use it with copper oxy*. I have only used fongarid on one occasion and it worked well. Good luck.
Let us know how it works out. | |

| Yup I'm a Fongarid fan too. Good for damping off, and I sprayed some on the freshly cut ends of some pieces a while back and they dried off and callused perfectly cleanly. I gotta admit though I'm a bit wary of handling it I dont know how toxic it is.

| Thanks for that. The stuff doesnt seem quite as bad as I'd feared it might be, what with the LD50 for the hapless lab rat being nearly 10g/kg n'all. | |
