The joys of having a big heat mat no dormancy Wink

Plus they hate the cold, Attila reckoned I would kill them during winter not realising I had the mat Smile

Must go plant some seeds..................euphorbia, fouquieria and of course the digi alien

I actually got mine from Attila.

well mine is under cover of mini greenhouse where it is a bit warmer and still alive, last time i looked.
i bring it inside when cold frosty nights are predicted, like i do for my Uebelmannia pectinifera (Brazillian doesn't like temps below 10C, sorry guy your in Melbourne and will have to get used to it lol) and Melo matanzanus (bloody Carribean tropical melo from Cuba doesn't like temps below 15C, sometimes struggle to make that a daytime maximum temperature lol. gets luxury of nights in heated house, except when i get lazy or forget). actually i think these plants have acclimated. the Uebie survived 3C- night with frost and its fine.

Dorstenia still has a couple of leaves and flowers near the top but it will probably drop them soon as well. the stem at least appears healthy lol. i water it very lightly and mist spray along with all my dormant cacti on a weekly basis. should survive
