Hi all , while researching Notocactus I came across this information. as there as been a lot of discussion re fluro tubes, heat mats, potting mix etc I thought that it was relevant to add to the discussion http://www.cactusshop.co.uk/contents/media/CactiFromSeedLeoMartin.pdf

cheers gracie, thats a good one. the only thinh i disagree with is the heavy soaking of the seeds for three days. i tried thiswith a punnet of 50 slow growing mexicans, and the other punnet i did as per normal with a lid on the container, and the one with the lid has a much higher germination rate, it could be a fluke as i've only done it with one batch, also mexicans mightent like this method but others do? anyone have any ideas on this.
