I found this cactus dumped just outside of town along with other rubbish as apparently that's what you do to the countryside, however at least I noticed "big Spiky" (pet name) growing among what was dumped. I think its a nice looking cactus just not sure if its a Trich spp or other. it has grown quite quickly in a year, the others are peanut & a chilli plant to keep company, yeah I know I'm weird but I love my plants flower

It looks more like a cereus to me. Can you post a pick of the tip from the top?
