This little bloke is downright weird. I've shown older photos of him in another thread... now I'm wondering if anyone can ID him.

The growth habit is lot more compact than most williamsii... so I'm wondering if it is a diffusa or a fricii that I've got here. Any takers?

Certainly is some interesting growth Very Happy I can't ID it any better than you i'm sorry to say. It doesn't matter how much info I read on Lophs they still all look pretty much the same.

IDing pumped up lophos might understandably be more difficult from own-rooted ones, as willi-ribs might resemble diffusa as a result of swelling. This having been said, I have not at all experience with a diffusa....
