| interesting posts.. i have a few that i'm waiting to see what they produce re flowers and one plant that i dont know what is is at all.. i'll post a pic in the nestr couple of weeks, need a new battery in the camera first. i kept my plants going through the winter by storing them under my benches and under the middle row right away from the sides of the polyhouse. last winder they got badly damaged by the gold. my ricrac almost was wiped out so it spent the winter in the heat bed , tucked in and surrounded by cuttings in baggies. loved it! | |

Just a beautiful BIG bloom. 8.00 this morning bloom still in good condition but I do expect it to deterioate from now on. My Rick Rack should bloom tonight. Don't know what my neighbours think of these mysterious lights in my garden | |

| Well Selenicereus anthonynus flowered last night. I am a little dissapointed with the flower as two petals had kinks in them that did not straighten out. I had great expectations and feel a bit let down. strictum was perfect in all ways. | |

| a bit of a story there ,driving to work fast one morning i accidentilly hit an emu ,and feeling bad and not wanting to waste this poor creature and also wanting to pay for the damage to the front of my car decided to compost the emus body ,it was left in a garbage bin away from the nose for a year and mixed in was leaf mulch...what resulted was a black sweet smelling compost which i top dressed this epi with ...lol, i think she like it | |

| I've seen photos of Epiphylum (or possibly Zygocactus; it's been a while) grafted to some sort of columnar stock, possibly a Trich of some flavour. The result was something almost like a standard rose: a tall stock, with a burst of greenery and flowers coming out of the top. | |
