Subject: Huernia schneiderana Mon May 18, 2009 7:16 am
I've got this little plant in a small hanging pot now since the stems have grown considerably. This is it's first flower for the season, it doesn't look like there's much happening among the other asclepiads so it might be the only representative for the season!.
and the Titanopsis are doing their thing...

Is the first plant a Stapelia, I'm not sure? I've started getting into them, they have the most amazing flowers.

Looks real healthy and green good to see. I find alot of people put huernias in full sun ,which i dont think they prefer.

G'day and thanks fellers! Kanje, yes the Huernias are members of the Stapelia group of plants, blowng... I find they grow much better in filtered light, they tend to go red/brown in full sun and I don't think they grow as well.
