Cacti for the Tropics Empty
PostSubject: Cacti for the Tropics   Cacti for the Tropics EmptyWed Nov 30, 2016 8:43 pm

I'm looking at creating a dry garden for the first time (4m x 1.5m), made solely of Cacti and succulents (large and small). I live in the NT so no doubt my choice in Cacti is going to be limited due to the severe humidity and the wet season. Obviously soil mix and drainage is #1 for combating the wet weather but I really have no idea where to start or what cacti will survive/grow the best in our climate. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Scooter,

I'm in tropical north queensland. Are you wanting to do an exposed outdoor garden or are you able to put a "roof" over it?
