| Hi everyone, I've had this cactus since it was quite small, it's now about 30cm in diameter and I can't seem to find out what the name of it is. As you can see it grows out from the centre and has fairly long branches with small spikes. Any help would be greatly appreciated

| Hi Brittany. Welcome to the forum. I would hazard a guess at it being a member of the Aloe family. It is definitely a succulent though, not a cactus.
I am not very well read on succulents but it is my understanding that Aloe's are quite easily hybridised and there are many different cultivars available. If I had to take a wild guess I would say it is a hybrid version of Aloe marlothii.

| Oh wow, you're right! Mind blown haha all this time I was thinking it was a cactus purely because it has spikes. I've looked it up and it looks to be exactly that plant. Thanks so much for your response. | |
