| Hello friends,
I'm new to keeping cactuses. My girlfriend just bought me this Succulent from a street fair today. I really want it to thrive
I'll see if if can upload a picture. Not sure what type it is or how to take care of it.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Sincerely, James.

| Hi lakers. Welcome to the forum! I'm not much of a succulent expert but no doubt someone here will have an answer for you. It all starts with that first one and before you know it you'll have a whole greenhouse full. | |

| Hey SneakyCuttlefish,
Thanks for the warm welcome ! You're exactly right. The stall I bought it from had lots of varieties of cactuses/succulents and I had to really resist not buying one of each. | |

| Hi Lakers1222 Welcome to the ACF (Australian Cacti Forum) I think what you might have here is a Sempervivum, possibly a Sempervivum arachinoideum cultivar or hybrid. Sempervivums (Hens and Chicks) are easy growing plants that multiply easy. Hope this helps SuperKabuto869 | |

| Hey SuperKabuto869, Thanks for your contribution. I don't know any thing about the botany, but by looking at images online of Sempervivums online I would say they look pretty similar to my one. I'm glad you say they are easy to multiply. I can see 2 small bulbs forming on the side of my own one | |
