| Good evening folks,
Today I received my first order of cacti seeds and have just finished planting them up. I'm so excited to see what comes of them.
I planted the following -
-trichocereus peruvianus 5 seeds
-pachycereus pringlei 10 seeds
-lithops 10 seeds (tiny little buggers, hope they made it to the soil, couldnt actually see them)
-aloinopsis Rubrolineata 5 seeds
-echinocactus grusonii 50 seeds
-50 seeds of mixed cactus (gift with purchase)
Fingers crossed they go well, I'll be happy with one plant from each type! | |

| Good work mate, it's a great experience growing from seed especially the first time you nail it.
Good luck mate. Josh. | |

| Thanks Josh, The hard part now is to not sit there waiting for them to do something lol. I've followed the information I've gathered from the Internet so with any luck I'll have some success.
Will post updates (if there are any)
Regards,

| now you have them in the soil... time is going to slow down significantly. it always does the first time round.

| Well the seeds have managed to move in to rest on the top of the fish tank, it's nice and warm there so I am hoping it will aid in the germination. No direct sun reaches there but it is reasonably bright during the day so hopefully it will suffice for now, managed to only check them 4 times today! Lol

| We have lift off!
4 days on and the aloinopsis rubrolineata seeds I planted have begun to sprout (2 so far) I just knew checking them every 5 minutes would pay off *jokes*
No movement in anything else thus far but I guess it's early days.
Such an exciting time! | |
