| OMG - they're awesome flowers!!!
Wow!
I hope my Mr Hook flowers at some stage (I have three)... They're really good photos!
I've been dying for someone to put something in here - you popped the American Cacti's cherry!
I'm not sure if I have any other ferros tho... Only the 'hook' ones... And I can't even recall their sp name!

| They are very nice genus, I want to get some more species, only got a few, got some F. gracilis and F. glaucescens seedlings coming along. A while before I can enjoy their form though I guess. Anyone got any plants for sale? | |

| WOW! Someone likes Feros, alot! Very nice indeed. I particularly like that clumping one, Ferocactus robustus? Wonder what the chances of a small cutting from that massive clump would be Been wanting a clumping Fero for a while now. - Quote :

| Trig it is f.robustus That photo was taken in SA other wise I am sure I would have been able to get a piece or two. There were two clumps like that and were absolutely awesome. | |

| Hi Betty, Those photos are spectacular - and some of the cacti were huge.
Was it a private garden, or just a spot on the side of the Murray. Would be keen to have a look at it next I am on the way to Renmark / Mannum

| It was a private garden. Built into a limestone hill which started 27 years ago. Worth a visit | |

| Hi Betty that cacti garden near Young Husband is not too far from my house (couple of hours)... and it looks quite amazing. It's unbelievable how many species are out there. Thanks for sharing the photos. How would one go about arranging a visit? Although, I'm not sure I should I totally understand if it's a private matter, and would be better kept under wraps. I assume joining the SA Cacti Society would be the best way, they take day trips occasionally I believe. Thanks, Micro | |

| Hey Micro, it sure is amazing. Made the Succulenticon well worth while just to see it. I am not sure if the C&S society does trips or not. I know they helped tidy up for the Succulenticon and from what I understood do so during the year. Why not contact someone from the Society and they would soon let you know. Try the email on their web site. | |

| Thanks. When I went to their autumn show they mentioned they took trips occasionally to well established gardens. Pretty sure the one you saw was mentioned. Should probably go to the meetings anyway just to learn more...

| Yes, details on the web site. Parking is an issue and don't go to the wrong room or else you will end up doing martial arts... | |
