Mammillaria.... or is it...?

Some of my Mammillaria's are suffering an identity crisis. Can anyone help? I have been having a lot of trouble with this genus. I believe some of these aren't even mams.



Mammillaria bocasana ?

I don't think this is a mam.


I think this one is actually Rebutia miniscula


This is the only cactus I have successfully managed to sunburn. It's very sensitive to light.

Mammillaria spinossisima var. Pico


Mammillaria matudae


I highly doubt this is a mam. Notocactus perhaps??


I suspect a mammillaria hahiana. Gets pink flowers very similar to the M. matudae.

This one looks like an eriosyce to me

I agree on your ID of the m. elongata, hahniana and mutadae

That's my opinion on the IDs. Hope it helps

m. bocasana looks right as does m. spinnosissima

Thanks everyone. Really helped a lot with some of them. Though I have to agree with hellonasty lol. Next time i might rig up a number system to save on the repeats.

wondering if the possible notocactus with the very fine ribs may be echinofossilocactus sp? just to add a suggestion...
