Gymnocalycium ID please

Hey hey,

Picked up a nice gymno this morning but am unsure what exactly it is. I was thinking either G. mostii or G. eurypleurum although I'm a total newb at id'ing gymno's.

Any thoughts?

Could be mostii but could also be G. anisitsii, looks to have to little fluff around the areoles to me.

Thanks for the response, been having trying to find some info on the G. anisitii but not much is showing up under that name, is it synonymous with G. damsii?

If so I think you may be on the money there, seems to be a better fit however the spines seem a lot longer than most of the G. damsii I've found pictures of.

Guess i'll have to wait till spring for it to flower to be sure!

That it is, The Cactus Family by Anderson puts them as synonyms as does the new cactus lexicon.
The Cactus Family says this about it.
