| Hi, My Mammallaria microthele has developed around 12 red fruits, which seem to be getting bigger daily. I was wondering is it a certainty that they will have seeds inside? How were the flowers germinated as I only have one plant of this variety, was it from pollen form another Mammallaria plant, if so will it produce a cross? Also how do I go about harvesting the seeds? Sorry for all the questions but this is the first time I’ve had a cactus fruit Thanks | |

| Your mamm is self fertile so the fruit/seeds are produced from the same plant, no cross pollination etc. The fruit should have a quantity of seed inside, with some species as the plant matures you get more seeds in each fruit _________________ My Cacti Blog, please come visit me.
