Has anybody tried seasol earthcare Ga 100?

Has anybody tried seasol earthcare Ga 100 on recalcitrant or generally difficult seeds before i blow the next 3 months fertilizer budget on a trial.
The sales pitch looks pretty smick but i have to admit to being rather cynical about any and all commercial claims.

I just had a look and the product is pretty much a 100g/L GA3(Gibberelic Acid) solution. I wouldn't spend too much on it I think I bought 100ml of 130g/L for $12 a few years back, I have used less than half of it. You really don't need much.

I used it on a few different difficult species to germinate and not limited to cacti. Overall I found it did increase germination and most definitely induced flowering on some cacti.

Personally unless you have a specific purpose I would give it a miss.

I was wondering if it might make a good solution to soak my seeds in prior to sowing, hopefully increasing germination rates and decreasing times. And hopefully getting away from sporadic germination as much as possible. The sooner i can get them out of the propagation beds the better.

My local wants to sell me a 20L drum of 100g/L, might have ta ring around and see who's got 100ml bottles nearby. If not there's always lab an industrial grade gibberelic acid on ebay.

Yep I bought the lab/tissue culture stuff. Worked pretty well. hehehehehe a 20L drum would last you 3 life times

Yeah i suspect your right about the 20L.
I've just purchased 25g of Lab grade 99.95%, that should tide me over for a few moons.

Just as a follow up
I did half a dozen species, 3 Trich's A cereus & a couple of Mamms
I did 4 pots with 10 seeds of each species all sown in 3" pots in ziplock bags on a small heat mat.

1st pot plain rain water controll
2nd pot rain water with seaweed tea
3rd pot 100ppm GA3 Gibberelic Acid
4th pot 250ppm GA3 Gibberelic Acid

its now been 10 days & the winner hands down is????
