They are both the result of a cross between Trichocereus Peruvianus Monstrosus X Sacred Suculents SS02

Those are incredible. I like how they started out nearly 'normal', and then progressed from there.

The one on the left was grafted, the smaller one is a seedling. They would be just over a year old both from the same seed batch.

Is the rootstock buried below the soil line? I can't see where the graft scar is.

No mate it was de-grafted from pereskiopsis a while ago. It's now growing on it's own roots.

I like it's heart shaped lower cladodes too.
Look forward to seeing what the next new growth spurt brings as it currently has a couple more signs of shooting.

Very nice Cryptocarpa.

Looks like a monstrose crest.

Also Sabry.keiso Very nice selection of plants.

I really like the Lophocereus schotti forma spiralis, Trichocereus pachanoi forma monstruosa and Trichocereus bridgesii forma monstrousa cristata!!
They are awesome!!! I you ever get sick of them let me know!!!  Very Happy

if i were a plant and i inspected these specimens i would find suitibility using the phraze "a face only a mother could love".
however, i am not a plant, nor am i the female of my species... and i love these freaks... big time. kudos to you guys they are all way, way, extra, super, fantastic.
