i have noticed that in the last year the amount of non registered visitors has increased dramatically. I think we have a great forum going and we are obviously creating some interest. i would just like to say well done everyone for the great topics and the new and inovative ideas that have been posted, i think we are (even though our wives may disagree) enlightend thinkers who in no way lack passion!! i have enjoyed every day that i have been a member of this site, its a real credit to those who maintain it.

kind regards
Darren

I am new to this site and found that there is information here that you cant find in any book and that would take years of trial and error to gain the experience that you can now find at your finger tips. Great website and i hope i can contribute users online Icon_biggrin

On behalf of the ACF Team....Thankyou.

Thanks for the kind words but I can't take credit for the site. I remember talking to Trigonus(Luke) a few years ago now about making an Australian based cactus forum, at those early stages it was just a 'dream', an idea, and it was Luke and his brother(Kyle) that made it a reality. Luke spent a great deal of time and effort getting this site up and running and I thank him for daring to dream and taking the initial steps.

Unfortunately Luke is preoccupied with some of life's bigger issues and cannot come here as much as he would like.

A site/forum/community like this is only possible with members like you three above, each member brings their own experience and a unique view of cacti and life in general. For this I thank each and every member for taking the time to register and contribute. I would also like to thank the Moderators past and present for their contributions.

I'm very thankful for all the members here. Not only are there some fantastic growers out there, but you're also a great bunch of people. I've been a member (and occasional moderator) of many and varied forums over the years; however I have never had the pleasure of being a member of a forum with members as generous and genuine as the crew here.

Yes, must say I'm glad to have finally found an Aussie C & S forum with an active user group who are into all types of C & S and not just the ethnobotanical ones !!
Also some very accomplished growers and grafters on here. The photo's and discussions have been great.
Thanks to those doing all the work (Mods, Admins etc) so the rest of us can have fun...heheh! users online Icon_cheers

A beginer like me can only stand in awe with what you guys have accomplished, the inspiration and knowledge that this forum radiates is obvious. It's funny how an australian forum attracts cacti lovers round the globe and it's also funny we got pretty much opposite growing seasons Smile

Congratulations, and keep it up Smile
