Now and then 4600605239_771feb0eb4I purchased plant on the right for $3 when it was the size as the cutting on the left 3 years later regular potting yearly and this is what can be achieved no special treatment. I have taken three cuttings from this plant and you wouldnt be able to tell. Mammillaria bocasana "FRED"

Now and then 4600605245_976de4389fYes 90% of all my cacti are in hothouses 10% outside. These two golden balls were the same size when i drilled the one on the right a year ago and potted up straight away. I have ten or more the as the one on the left dont know whether to drill another one or two.

Now and then 4601014828_3980cb8c67Will post many more photos just having trouble transfering photos from one computer to this one but will get it soughted. Meanwhile here is a pic of some of my varigates that i will be grafting soon maybe in spring. Will get a better camera soon so i can take some better pics. Any suggestions on type of camera.

maybe have a look at ricoh its an easy point and shoot and does macro down to 1cm but hope you have more luck with yours than mine. the first one got dropped in a pool by the missus but got a new one on waranty because it had an unlimited waranty and the second one i left on the roof of the car after fishing then when i turned around to get it a car ran over it.

DOH!!!

Thanks lachy i didnt no what to expect when i grafted it didnt even think it would survive but goes to show. I have grafted a couple plants that were rotting off and saved them by grafting. Now and then Icon_biggrin

I have never grafted with humidity when grafting onto tricho, harrisia and myrtillocactus so peri conditions will be different to what im used too. Look forward to showing photos of progress sow seed next day or two so will start grafting by early june my birthday.
