Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone can help me work out what this cactus is?
I found it out the back of my place when I first moved in over a year ago, it look dead but over time it has come back nicely & has even flowered for me this year, putting out a lot of flowers.

I was thinking it might be a Parodia, it has a hooked central spine & the flowers look similar to Parodia but my P. leninghausii is self fertile producing hundreds of seeds from one flower were as this did not produce any seeds.

Any help would be great, here are some photos.

Hey rickyscactus,

thanks for the reply, I was thinking along the lines of microsperma as some of the photos I find on the net look spot on but others look way off scratch. I have found this seems to be the case with a few of the Parodia spp.

My profile pic is a little Trichocereus, it is a true albino & is pure white Very Happy, I will start a a new post about it tonight & put some better photos of it in there.

Thanks again.

Cheers
