| That's a beauty, the blue colour to the skin is very pretty. I reckon it would look fantastic as a feature or accent plant in a mixed rockery garden bed. I must admit that I've always liked the blue-skinned columnar species, however both Pilosocereus and Myrtillocactus seem a little too cold- and damp-intolerent for where I live. This could be a good alternative... | |

| Beautiful Tricho that one, have some of those which I have grown from seed myself, nowhere near as far along as that one. Nice to know it gets that beautiful glaucous blue with a bit of maturity. How old? | |

Those pictures were taken in 2011. The plants are huge now, I will take an updated photo and post it up for you. They must be at least 5 years old by now. | |
